Linking Documents
Depending on your Law Firm's requirements, you may be asked to provide two linking documents to the property you are selling. You will be asked for these after you have captured your Identity Document and Liveness selfie.
You will be required to provide two documents from the below list:
- Utility bill dated within the last three months.
- Credit card/bank/building society statements dated within the last three months.
- Local authority council tax bills for the current financial year.
- Mortgage statements from a recognised lender for the last full year.
- Current UK/EEA photocard driving licence.
- HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) self-assessment letters or tax demands dated with the current financial year.
- A current insurance policy schedule for the property
- A current firearm/shotgun certificate.
- A copy of the agreement for the purchase of the property.
- A current lettings agent agreement on headed paper.
- A local authority building regulations sign off for works undertaken to the property addressed to the individual.
- Management company service charge demands for the property addressed to the individual.
If you do not have any of the acceptable documents, please contact the firm who issued you your check, and they will be able to advise on how to proceed.
You will be able to either capture the two linking documents as a photograph, or you can upload the documents from your files.
